Arriving before the future arrives.
Surrounded by the thousand-year heritage of the Xiaozi Temple, this project in Yiwu draws life from its deeply rooted cultural history and vibrant commercial trade. Through centuries of dynamic global connection, Yiwu has continuously embraced new ideas and cultures.
Guided by this spirit of openness and exploration, CCD envisions a future-oriented urban experience. Beyond conventional reception and exhibition spaces, the environment offers a welcoming retreat where visitors can engage with art, unwind at their own pace, and indulge in open imagination. The interior design merges Surrealism with Neo-Futurism, drawing conceptual inspiration from a contemporary urban art museum. By integrating the idea of floating islands, the organic growth of nature is translated into soft spatial curves, bold architectural volumes, and tactile textures, creating an avant-garde realm where time and space fold together.

A "COCOON" NURTURING NEW LIFE
/ RECEPTION HALL & LOUNGE /
The spatial design of the reception draws extensively on the fluid language of Neo-Futurism, where low-slung ceilings, curved walls, and a metallic dome merge together to erase physical boundaries. Anchoring the space is the "Cocoon" art light installation, co-created with artist. Its metallic skeleton enfolds delicate silk fabrics, while intelligent breathing light shifts with circadian rhythms and human movement, crafting a dynamic "energy field."
In the lounge area, art and nature preview future living. Natural light and tree shadows filter indoors, shifting interstellar imagination into a more relaxed, everyday scale. Original COSMO CROSS lounge chairs, coffee tables, and side tables bring a sense of weightlessness — blending sculptural forms with futuristic allure to elevate technological imagination into a warm, sensory experience.

THE PRECISION-ENGINEERED BEAUTY OF ORDER
/ ARTISTIC SPIRAL STAIRCASE /
The spiral staircase winds around the central column, where subtle golden accent lights discretely trace the ascending path. Silver curves and dark volumetric forms interweave, naturally drawing the eye upward with every step.
Suspended within the stairwell dome is an original dynamic art installation. Resembling a dragon's spine, its translucent acrylic fins flow through a gradient from glacial blue to sunrise gold. Inspired by the natural rhythm of day giving way to night, it weaves a cyber-poetic narrative where mechanics and art seamlessly coalesce.
BOUNDLESS IMAGINATION
/ ARTISTIC FOYER & LOUNGE BAR /
Metallic curves roll up from the ground to form a natural 'canyon' within the double-height space, redefining scale, gravity, and light. Beyond, the lounge bar unfolds like a 'living floating island,' where dark floors and moss-textured rugs link bespoke furniture into a breathing ecological oasis. Here, mechanical precision merges with handcrafted warmth, seamlessly folding functional living into a surreal, avant-garde realm.
