With a masterful approach to restoration, CCD has created a dialogue between time and space through a philosophy of "preserving the past with respect." The design embraces quiet restraint, shielding guests from the city's hustle and bustle while allowing an understated sense of Oriental serenity to flow throughout. From courtyards and exposed timber beams to grey-tiled roofs and floor-to-ceiling glass, the hotel seamlessly fuses tradition with modernity—offering guests the rare experience of "living in history, yet dwelling in the present."
