Time Will Tell | CCD Global Annual Review Meeting
"Time does not make decisions for us, but it validates every judgment we make."

For CCD, 2026 is not only a year of business growth, but also a year of profound structural upgrading. The firm is set to achieve a strategic leap — from a design service provider to a platform for spatial value innovation.

Design Upgrading: Global Expansion of CCD's International Talent
At the meeting, CCD Founder Joe Cheng delivered a keynote address. He noted that as the golden era of real estate fades, the design industry is shifting from being a "decorator of spaces" to a "creator of integrated experiences." In 2026, CCD's mission is not simple expansion in scale, but the reconstruction of its overall capability system — positioning itself as a hub connecting physical space, digital experience, and sustainable value.

During the event, Renee Cheng, Founder of ROUSSILLON, Founder of RARITAG, and Co-President of CCD, announced that the ROUSSILLON hybrid lifestyle space will launch in Shanghai within the next two years. The project will integrate a concept store, art gallery, Michelin-level dining, and a boutique hotel to create a new form of lifestyle landmark in China. A global buyer program will also be launched to introduce niche international furniture brands, transforming aesthetic capability into real consumer experiences.

Behind this strategic leap is a rapidly expanding international team. Over the past year, the Marcel Wanders + CCD co-branded Milan office in Europe, the Tokyo Creative Center, and the Hong Kong Creative Center have successively opened. This year, on March 31, the London office will celebrate its opening at the The Peninsula London. Offices in Melbourne and Dubai will also open later this year. In addition, CCD plans to establish a construction documentation studio in Bangkok or the Philippines, further strengthening its service network across the Asia-Pacific region.

CCD Global Team
From East Asia to Europe, from the Southern Hemisphere to the Middle East, CCD is building a global collaborative design network through its physical presence. In May this year, the CCD Global Design Conference will be held at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan. Global design teams will present in-depth trend analyses based on regional practices, sharing insights on lifestyle evolution, shifts in client structures, and changes in aesthetic preferences.

Technology Strategy: Building Dual Engines of "Design + Technology"
On the technology front, CCD is demonstrating a forward-looking industrial vision. The company has completed a strategic investment in Senodia Semiconductor, joining leading investors such as Hubble Technology Investment (Huawei's investment arm) and BYD. The investment supports the development of domestic IMU (inertial sensor) technology, positioning CCD within China's foundational hard-tech ecosystem and strengthening its long-term strategic depth.

Meanwhile, CCD will continue expanding the global presence of its technology brand IDEAFUSION. In 2026, IDEAFUSION will establish an independent operational space in Dubai, enabling tens of thousands of high-quality suppliers accumulated over five years to connect with global projects through this digital hub.
To empower designers with AI, CCD plans to train a proprietary AIGC model, building a systematic ecosystem platform tailored to the design industry. This platform will provide AI-enabled solutions across multiple levels. CCD will also collaborate with universities to develop localized sustainable material systems and explore blockchain-based copyright registration to protect creative assets over the long term.
Talent Upgrade: Defining the Upper Limit Through Talent Density
In 2026, as CCD expands and upgrades offices around the world, the company will fully advance the optimization of its talent structure. It plans to recruit interdisciplinary professionals — including anthropologists, AI engineers, and game narrative designers — to form international, diverse "special task teams," ensuring organizational vitality and continuous innovation.

With "passion for work" as the foundation of long-termism and "drive" as the force pushing toward the future, CCD stands at a new starting point. With a clear strategic direction, the company will embrace the challenges of globalization — and let time bear witness to the power of innovation.
