TANGIM
Jade within stone, shadow within light.

At TANGIM, CCD centers its design philosophy around the concept of "Sculpting Jade." Inspired by the natural elegance of jade emerging from raw stone, and echoing the grand spatial layout of the Qing Dynasty's West Lake Temporary Imperial Palace, the design creates an immersive aesthetic sanctuary. It is a space where vibrant city life and profound cultural elegance harmoniously intertwine.

UNFOLDING THE STORY OF "JADE"
/ LOBBY /
Upon entering the lobby, a narrative of "jade" gently unfolds. Emerald stone columns, inspired by Hangzhou's folding fans, transform the entrance into an elegant "viewing pavilion." The expansive space features warm, natural stone that radiates an understated glow in the shifting light, perfectly showcasing the pure texture of minimalist design.
THE DANCING LIGHT AND SHADOWS OF JADE
/ RECEPTION AREA & ART EXHIBITION AREA /

At the spiral staircase, a jade lighting pillar cascades like a waterfall. Stepping down feels like strolling through the shimmering ripples of West Lake, while the reception hall's sculptures further enhance the poetic charm of Jiangnan. The art exhibition area envisions a "waterfront pavilion." Suspended paper fans, layered yet feather-light, brilliantly capture the timeless resonance between Eastern poetic scenery and contemporary design.

AN ELEGANT DIALOGUE WITH TIME
/ LOUNGE & PRIVATE DINING AREA /
As the spatial circulation gently guides guests toward the lounge areas, the design narrative unfolds, drawing inspiration from the poetic elegance of travels to West Lake. The bar counter glows with a translucent emerald brilliance, just like both the gentle ripples of water and the rich essence of tea settling into a warm, mellow luster.

The private dining area evokes the gentle warmth of Jiangnan's misty rain. Pendant lights inspired by traditional oil-paper umbrellas are paired with mother-of-pearl inlaid lacquer artwork, which draws its theme from West Lake's famous "Sweet Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong." Together, these details infuse the entire space with a touch of secluded, understated elegance.
